IFS: Healing for Addictive Process

Deepening IFS Insight & Impact on Compulsion

A Two Day Workshop with
Cece Sykes, LCSW: IFS Senior Trainer and Consultant

April 12th & 13th, 2019

Many behaviors can become compulsive… social media, work, alcohol, food habits, video games, drug use (street and script), sexual behaviors, spending, self-harming, anger, isolation.
Most of our clients suffer with one or two of these issues and some spend years getting free of one risk-taking behavior only to take on another.
Learn how to intervene with these addictive processes with clear, effective compassion that engages the client, reduces resistance and addresses the burdens always lying under the surface.
Discover how hidden traps of perfectionism and judgment in ‘users,’ partners and clinicians undermine the recovery process. The therapist’s legacy with addictive processes and its impact on the clinical relationship will also be included.

"An expert in her field, Cece has that rare quality of being a gifted teacher with a warm, approachable style.  Her teachings are exceptionally clear and chock full of relevant content.  I always come away with practical knowledge that I can immediately put to use in my practice.  I cannot recommend her enough."
